ARTIST BIO
Al·ly Quetzal Imaz Cardenas is a designer and architect. With her work, she is mainly focusing on functional design and efficiency. Her portfolio ranges from full-size house architecture up to the functional design of in-house furniture.

Her father is an architect, urbanist and lecturer specialized in green and sustainable architecture. Her mother is a lawyer, promoter and cultural producer. Al·ly was therefore able to develop her creative ideas from a young age. Her work is reflecting the combination of an environment friendly yet correct and society adequate design.
She studied architecture in Barcelona, working as a draftswoman for the family office.
Later, she started working in a robotics company where she was quickly promoted as admin and logistics manager. She further had the opportunity to be in charge of the graphic design of the company. Al·ly was able to work with the corporate identity design as well as doing some collaborations to do 3D drawings designing robots and sceneries.

Al·ly is a polyglot, she speaks 4 languages: Catalan, Spanish, English and French and soon she will start with German & Japanese. After living in Mexico City and Barcelona, now she resides in San José California where she is currently studying Media Arts at San Jose City College and she is specializing in Web and Interactive Design.

· Architecture at Coyoacán - Mexico City
Project for a remodeling of an old house located on the renamed artists neighborhood known as Coyoacan for the construction of a House-Studio for an artist.
· Web Design at Saltillo - Mexico
Designing the website of a recently open company called Casa Oaxaca that dedicated to the sale of traditional hand-embroidered clothing from the state of Oaxaca, Mexico.
· Web Design at Mexico City - Mexico
Creation of a website of art pieces for rental and/or sale of art.
Creation of a Web page for Casa de Coahuila Social and Cultural Center.
Creation of web pages for several artists.
· Design at San Jose - California
Design of multifunctional furniture.
Designing a school multitool as a result of a previous collaboration with colleagues from San Jose State University in the challenge The Silicon Valley Business Plan Competition.
